POSITION OVERVIEW
The role holder core responsibility is to successfully lead, manage and overall oversight of all global project’s delivery with highest compliance as per contract agreement. He or she shall be required to provide strategic direction as set by the Senior Leadership team which includes but not limited to resource management, budget allocation, customer management, reporting, documentation and process adherence to ensure project quality standards are consistently met at all times. As a senior management, the role holder pivotal success is measured from achievement of strategic project objectives of Techno Brain, efficient allocation and use of resource, frontline management of customer and compliance to quality standards at all times.
Required Skills & Experience:
Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in related field from a recognised university is desirable.
- Member of a relevant professional body and relevant professional qualification or certification.
Required Experience
- Minimum of ten (10) years’ relevant experience in IT Project management at a global level.
- A proven track record of IT Project delivery both in the private and public sector using iterative waterfall and agile methodology.
- Deep understanding of IT Technologies, Project Management and Process implementation.
- Thorough understanding of project management techniques, performance evaluation and change management principles.
- Experience in monitoring and track project progress against strategic and business objectives, as well as, take full accountability for management of scope, schedule and budget.
- Experience of working with PMO on all aspects of project management, to ensure the successful execution of all projects.
- Professional qualifications and Membership e.g. PMP, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), CMMI and ISO 9001:2000, Customer Satisfaction Quality Assurance (CSQA).
- Demonstrable experience in developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
Responsibilities
1. Project Strategy Development and Implementation
- Collaborate with the Senior Leadership team in developing a vision and strategic plan to guide, develop and align global project delivery function of the organization.
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Identify, assess, and inform the Senior Leadership team of internal and external issues that affect the organization.
2. Managing Project Teams, Stakeholder, Communication and reporting
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
- Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary during project cycle.
3. Managing the project risk
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Track project milestones and deliverables.
- Identify and evaluate the risks to the organization’s people (clients, staff, management, and partners), property, finances, goodwill, and image and implement measures to control risks.
4. Managing the project schedule and Budget
- Collaborate with the CTO and Finance to prepare a comprehensive annual budget.
- Approve expenditures within the authority delegated by the Chief Technology Officer as per project sheet.
- Provide the Chief Technology Officer and Finance Director with comprehensive, regular reports on the revenues and expenditure of the organization
