Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Clinical Officer in-Charge,the incumbent will among others be responsible for the followinbg

History taking and physical examination of patients

Diagnosis and Management of Patients in outpatients/inpatients department in Hospital,Health Centre or dispensary

Counsel patients on and compliance to treatment in outpatient/inpatient department;

Order investigations on patients/clients

Give health education to patients/Clients and community

Give appropriate referral

Any other duties as may be assigned by your supervisor

Qualifications and Experience:

Be a holder of Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE),Mean grade C plain

Be in possession of of Diploma in Clinical Medicine from a recognized institution

Be registered with Kenya Clinical Officers Association

Be in possession of a minimum of at least one-year post-internship experience

Have shown competence  and ability in organising,performing and discharging duties and responsibilities

Those with additional training will have an added advantage
